    My 2008 X3 didn’t have navigation, just the storage bin on the dash. I was nervous about cutting the dashboard to fit the iDrive controller, but the included template made it foolproof. The screen sits perfectly where the bin used to be. It completely modernizes the interior. Wireless CarPlay connects instantly. If you have the base model without a screen, this is the best upgrade you can do.
